Fodor's Expert Review Kaupo General Store

More than your run-of-the-mill general store, the Kaupo Store, opened in 1925, not only has the cold drinks and snacks that you’ll be looking for this far into your drive, but it’s also full of souvenirs, knickknacks, and a mini-museum housing vintage cameras, clocks, and more. In recent years the store has downsized to a small outdoor pop-up in the parking lot, with limited opening hours. This is a great place to linger and talk story with the owners and locals.
